MattressTek have made is to the regional final as finalists for the National Make UK Manufacturing Awards in the Business Growth and Strategy SME of the Year.
The winners will be announced at the Regional Dinner on 7th November which will be a great opportunity to network with the best in manufacturing and hear from an inspiring after dinner speaker, and most importantly celebrate the sector’s success. If successful we will then make it to the National final in the new year.
The awards committee said: “The judges have been impressed with the high standard of entries received and you and your company should be proud of your achievement. We look forward to honouring and recognising the region’s incredible makers, innovators, and leaders within the sector. Good luck.”
The Business Growth and Strategy award has been developed to recognise the most dynamic business growth based on an actively managed and consistently delivered growth strategy. This could include implementation of a new export strategy, business expansion or product diversification.
The SME of the Year award has been developed to champion businesses with less than 250 employees who have blazed a trail within the manufacturing sector. They will have led by example and developed progressive best practice for others in the industry. They will have shown exceptional initiative, boldness and dynamism, as well as exemplary management practices.
